I'm sorry to say at this point in our life I will not be able to buy your book, however thank you sooooo much for posting this interview up. My mind is racing at the things I can do at home for my 5 yr old boy. Without a school, without money for special diet and things I am now sparked to consider the life style at home, my cleaning habits, what type of food I do buy (not getting something special but just getting better) Thank you.

Thank you Laura for ordering my book. I hope you enjoy it.

I really like your website. What a great service you provide to families who have a child with Autism. You have great resources also. I wish I would have had this when Andrew was younger, it would have been so helpful. I will definitely recommend your website.

Have a great day!
Julie

Hi Laura, thank you. The diet changes and removing all the chemicals in our house were huge. There were also many other interventions that were a big factor in Andrew's success. Andrew received a lot of Occupational and Speech therapy. He also had a Skills Worker that worked with him on social skills for 4 years, which started in 5th grade. There were many other things we did also. I talk about all of them in the book. I can give you a lot more information if you would like. You can email me at [email protected]
Thank you again Laura,
Julie

Nice Story, Julie. I wanted to know whether you think Andrew's recovery is solely due to the changes you made in his diet and in the chemicals in your house...or whether there were any interventions that you also feel were a factor. I know you said that what you learned through the country services home intervention program did not seem to help. I have a nine year old son on the autism spectrum

Thankyou for taking the time to share this with me. You look so healthy...a good referral for Shaklee and you came across as very caring and knowledgable. Good Job. Would you mind if I posted this on my facebook page for others to see. Thanks Lesley
